This weekend is the most important celebration of the Christian Calendar. In fact, it is the central teaching of the Christian Faith … on that Friday we know as Good Friday or Bloody Friday, Jesus died substitutionally for our sin, and on Easter Sunday, better said as Resurrection Sunday, Jesus rose substitutionally from the dead for us, guaranteeing all believers forgiveness of sin and guilt plus the assurance of Eternal Life.
How gracious and merciful God is! How blessed are we that we do not need to try and work our way into God’s favour!
Isaiah 53, John 3v16 & Ephesians 2v8-10.
