Congregational Letter – 30 May 2019

Dear Brothers and Sisters … the beloved in Christ              30 May 2019

Today we celebrate Jesus’ return to glory!

At Jesus’ court hearing before His execution he said to those asking Him who He was … Lk 22:69 But from now on, the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the mighty God.”

That is exactly what happened when Jesus ascended. Today we are able to read the following verse with great joy and encouragement … we have an advocate in glory! 1Jn 2:1 My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.

  1. Ascension Day Service

We have a service today at 6pm commemorating our Lord’s Ascension.

We have a short message, come to the Lord’s Table and enjoin fellowship over soups and rolls.

You are most welcome to join us.

  1. Sunday 2 June 2019

At 9am we will be looking at “The Supremacy of Christ.” This message is both a great encouragement and a serious challenge.

At 6pm We will be looking at “Judgment Day.” This message is for the brave hearted as it deals with what happens at the Judgment … though everyone who is serious about their eternal future ought to hear this message.
