Church News Letter – 6 December 2019

Dear Folk

God’s Word is to be our comfort and strength … but at the same time, it is an instrument Of God that does far more … 2Ti 3:16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 2Ti 3:17 so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

It is…

Ps 119:105 Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.

And the reason God gives His Word to us is mainly … that we may grasp … how holy He is … so that we walk in His holiness!

Ps 96:9 Worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness; tremble before him, all the earth

I wonder whether we are able to how His holiness ought to CAUSE a holy fear within us to seek to live in His holiness daily?
