Farewell Meal – 8 December 2019

Dear Friends

I just want to remind you that the 8th of December is going to be a special day.
That is when we are having a farewell meal in honor of Don & Jenny who after 29 years of faithful service to our church and its people will be retiring at the end of the year.
Ray Potgieter will do the preaching and our bishop Martin Morrisen will also attend.
Please remember this date as you are invited to join us for the service and the meal afterwards.

God Bless

Wednesday Night Bible Study

How does Wednesday shape up for you?

At CCT we start with a half hour of prayer in the boardroom from 7.30 to 8am. You are welcome to join us in praying for our church.

Then, Our Wednesday night Bible Study starts at 6pm with coffee and chitchat for a few minutes.

We then turn to our study which is the Book of James. This week we open up chapter 4:2-3. Here we will see how the ‘desires’ within ( chapter 4:1) translate into interpersonal conflict (sin) … and largely this relates to our inability to pray correctly due to sinful motives.

James is practical, pointed and confrontational. He writes under inspiration with the intention to arrest our souls so that we commit to true, intentional Christianity.

Consider joining us … you’ll be most welcome.
